Grand cordon (new) with original jewel of commandeur of Légion d'Honneur, second Empire.

Jewel is absolutely from second Empire, but centre is not in gold. It was for a commandeur, so 7 mm less than for "grand croix".
As we have no copies any more, we propose this jewel with a new grand cordon tu use in re enactment.
Where you wear it, nobody will notice differences.
It existed as we sell it, but it is rarer than type with gold center. It had to be more expensive, but price of absent gold reduces global price.

CAUTION : horse ridding wastes jewel, it would be a pity to destry this very nice piece;
Good condition except small and well done reparations on enamel, difficult to see at scale 1, nice quality, rare, only one on stock.
