Barbute italo corinthienne

Originated from Italy - The "Y" faced style of barbuta mimics the look of the classical Greek Corinthian helmets. A contemporary of the celata (sallet in Germany) and the "T" faced barbuta, this style was quite common. Made from two welded halves of 2mm steel, this helmet features a polished surface, adjustable spider style leather liner riveted to the helmet, and chinstrap fitted with a period buckle.
