Gorget and eagle have sam colour as it was often for senior officer of infantry of garde nationale.
We bought this gorget from same owner as 2 pairs of epaulettes of infantry of garde nationale Louis Philippe (1830-1848), and Présidence (1848-1852), probably used by same owner also, at different periods of his life.
