Blade with inscription "Manuf Imp de Klingenthal, Coulaux Freres "and also M and B.
Total length 740 mm, blade 595 mm.
This was kind of the "Swiss Army knife" of the Empire soldier. It was used to chop wood as well as to cut up food. Although they were absolutely useless when fighting against cavalry sabres, infantrymen would nevertheless hold on to it. Complies with contemporary rules.
