The patterns on the buttons were chiseled, gilded, then attached to the ball button.
A work of goldsmith, carried out a hundred years ago by T.W§W in Paris , suppliers to the armies.
Around button, 2inscriptionss: "15 de Novembro de 1889" and " Estados Unidos do Brazil".
Inside is a 5 branches star, surrounded by a laurel crown. In central icrcle 4 étoiles symbolised constellation of south cross. 27 stars represent 26 bresilian states and federal district.
