The pelican feeding its hungry young with its own liver, to save them from death, is a symbolic image of Christ who sacrificed himself in place of men.
Very decorative, Quality difficult to find these days.
A little oxidation (slightly greenish silver, can be corrected?) on the right part, price commensurate.
Height of the embroidered part: 37 cm.
Width of the embroidered part: 48 cm.

Très décoratif, Qualité difficilement trouvable de nos jours.
Un peu d'oxydation (argent légèrement verdâtre, peut être rattrapable?) sur la partie droite, prix en rapport.
