Sold with or without ribbon, silver(chevalier) without "tie", gold with "tie"31 mm high, 28 mm large.Silver colour is colour of a new decoration. Grey colour appeared after years, we sell decoration as if they were new. Colour of ribbon is the real colour of the genuine ribbon: ORANGE AND GREEN. Colour passed on old decoration but regulation instructions indicated orange and green.

Sold with ribbon 75 mm long
31 mm high, 28 mm large.

As king of Italy Napoleon was crowned with the "iron crown" of the lombards kings.
On 5th june 1805 was instaured the decoration of the Iron Crown, till end of Empire.
Then it was replaced by an austrian decoration, and an italian decoration from 1866.
So this decoration existed a long time after his creation, with different names and aspects.
