A particularly narrow scarf that we initially mistook for a DIY project.
An "old" collector told us that this type of scarf was found when generals didn't want to have a belt that was too bulky, for example, over a breastplate... for a cuirassier general.
We actually found it on a cuirassier general's breastplate from the early days of the Great War.
