17th century style rapier, SF. With certificate of origin by "Le Hussard" company.

Estimated at €450 in 2005, we're less greedy, so we'll settle for €285.
The blade dates from the second half of the 19th century, so it's normally suitable for combat...but we don't know how it was assembled, so if you want to use it for fencing, you'll do so at your own risk in case of breakage.
The last owner of this weapon was a fencing master specializing in show fencing, so he may have used it in shows, but unfortunately he is no longer around to provide us with information.
