Created by Napoléon Ist from Schönbrunn on 15 th august 1809.
Never distributed and suppressed on 27th september 1813.
Heigth of jewel: 135 mm.

2 different orders of the golden fleece soon existed.
After Napoleon placed his brother Joseph on spanish throne and won in Wagram, he decided to created an order gathering 2 different spanish and austrian orders and adding a french order...But he soon married Marie Louis and did not want to creat problems with his father in law.
So this order was finally not attributed.
