Hermann Historica auctionner sold an old painting of a capitaine de vaisseau jacket in november 2011, it helped us a lot.

We made a dye from a genuine and rare button of marine officer, epaulettes (not included in price) are copied from a pair of "musée de la marine" in Paris.
