Curved buttons, pewter aspect : 15, 18 mm, for"hussard de la mort"

Buttons almost for light cavalry uniforms.

Pewter buttons were used for some light cavalry troops as "hussards de la mort".
They were normally made in wood covered with pewter, we made some, but biggers are not strong enough to be used in the rank in the middle of dolman or pelisse

For husars jackets, in connection with regulation, 2X18 or 4X18 buttons = 36 or 72( take 2 more in case of loss) of 15 mm.
For waistcoat, same + 18 buttons more for central rank in 15 mm.
Central rank is normally occupied by 18 buttons in 18 mm diametre on dolman or pelisse.
We use light colour of pewter for french "hussards de la mort" and dark aspect pewter for brunswick leibhusar.
