See very original protection of top of grip and pommel.
Nice and rare swordknot for senior officer

Blade stamped "Manufacture Royale du Klingenthal", novembre 1822.
In 1882 scabbard has been modified to adopt new regulation.
Typical guard with 4 branches for heavy cavalry. Quillon slightly cracked, good golbal condition.
Length 118 cm, blade 96 cm.
Weight with swordknot: 1706 gr
